The old saying ‘seeing is believing’ just doesn’t hold these days. Between digitally-doctored photos and our eyes and brains being tricked by optical illusions, it is clear that seeing isn’t believing. Why is this important? Because occasionally we need to remind students that sometimes they cannot believe their own eyes.
