What’s in a name? Take mine, for instance, STOLTZ. I‘ve been told by nearly every German I’ve ever met that it means pride in German. So it must be true. But, no, it isn’t according to online German dictionaries, Stolz, a common mis-spelling of my name means pride. Stoltz, itself, is meaningless.
